Hi, I am Ari.
I am an aeronautical engineer by day, a cat servant by night.
I enjoy painting and I have the knack of inserting cat(s) into paintings.
Q: Can you only paint cats?
A: So far I have painted dogs, cats, birds, raccoons, squirrels, and dinosuars.
Q: What's the general process to commission you to paint?
A: 1. Contact me, allow me to understand your concepts. Send me your pet photos.
2. I will have to evaluate if I can bring your concept to life.
3. I will then ask you to sign a contract, and make the deposit.
4. I will provide a draft for proof. I will then make the final modifications per comments.
5. Final payment and you will receive the painting.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: It depends on the difficulty level and how many pets.
Generally the baseline for 16" x 20" print is $350.
Q: Can you paint pets to ANY paintings?
A: No, usually the impressionism and gothic arts doesn't work well because the unique features of your pet(s) will not show well . Classicism and Mannerism works the best. I can help you pick the painting if needed. The painting has to be in public domain (meaning that the copyright on that work has expired)
Q: Who has the copyrights of the art work?
A: I will retain the copyrights unless otherwise requested. Details will be specified on the contract.
Q: How long will it take?
A: Please allow 2 weeks from the contract signing date to draft proof; another 2-3 weeks for finalizing and printing/shipping.
Q: What if I need it in a hurry?
A: I might be able to expedite the process and reduce the turnaround to under 2 weeks. The expediting fee is an additional $100 for paintings 16" x 20" or smaller.
